The Olympic Games are a great example of an event that is broadcasts worldwide. You might think that all commentators gather in Paris to provide live coverage, quite the opposite is true. Thanks to the Telos Infinity VIP intercom system, commentators were able to deliver commentary on the matches from their own studios.
To give you an idea: during the Olympic Games, more than 800 hardware panels and over 160+ beltpacks were used to provide local commentary.
There was also a backup system in case the main intercom system failed. The backup was a DR platform with 512 ports and 256 software or phone panels. The system was accessible via HTML5 browsers, Android, and iOS devices and operated via the internet, ensuring uninterrupted communication.
