Imagine you're in need of a studio upgrade for higher quality broadcasts and a more flexible workflow. You select amazing new equipment and want to get started, only to realise that you aren't quite there yet with just a couple of boxes of equipment and some licenses. Getting all these different components to work together is a skill in and of itself. That's where Triple Audio comes in!
Your ideal workflow
Triple Audio has over 29 years of experience in providing broadcasters with turnkey solutions. Therefore, Triple Audio is highly skilled in creating custom-made solutions that go hand in hand with the workflow.
For broadcasters, it is imperative that their system is reliable but also easy to use. That's why system integration starts from the beginning, based on a clear vision. Our engineers would love to brainstorm with you about your wishes. Together we can create a plan for your ideal workflow.
A great example of system integration is the audio matrix that we realised for FunX. Here, studios get assigned to transmission lines. The equipment and software from various parties had to be integrated to make this happen. The Audio over IP matrix was built by Triple Audio to perfectly fit FunX's wishes, thus creating a workflow that is easy to use for the producers. The standard operation is completely automated and can be adjusted by hand if desired. For example, the phone numbers in the studio automatically linked to the geographical edition that's on air. Furthermore, the correct local commercials are initiated from the linked studio. All of this gets carried out in a redundant fashion.
Where there's a will, there's a way
For some systems, one would assume smooth interoperability, but that's not always true. Sometimes knowledge is required to make two pieces of equipment communicate with each other, even when they're from the same manufacturer. Our engineers made an advanced integration between the Axia Quasar and the Telos Infinity intercom panels at Omrop Fryslan, both products from Telos Alliance. The Telos Infinity intercom is able to integrate with the Axia Quasar mixers. However, in this case, the client's wish was to make the button layout of the intercom panels dynamically connect to the sources on the mixer, all while maintaining its core functionality. This was achieved by using Axia Pathfinder Core PRO (among other things).
Advantages of virtualisation
Virtualised broadcast audio equipment gets offered more and more. System integration goes a lot further than just supplying software and hardware. As a Dell OEM partner, Triple Audio optimises the composition of computer hardware for the software applications. Not just the hardware, but also the optimised Windows 10 IoT LTSC version make sure that the systems can be operational 24/7/365. An example of this is at Omroep Flevoland, where the transmission line processing is completely virtualised. Primary audio signals come in through Livewire+/AES67 and analogue signals are used as a secondary option in emergency situations. Afterwards, the signal leaves the system through an MPX-signal. For switching between the AoIP and analogue signal we delivered a dedicated 'emergency switch' IP-solution that can operate completely independently from the main installation.
Make your devices compatible
Triple Audio is an experienced system integrator for a wide variety of brands and products. This expertise is evident in Triple Audio's own product SmartControl. SmartControl is software that links different protocols within your existing network based on the 'If This Then That' principle. SmartControl makes sure that different connections can be established between your devices and software. For example, the connection between Axia and Philips Hue that we created for Rijnmond. Here, the Philips Hue signalling lights are connected to the Axia system.
