"They did a very good job at anticipating and thinking along, that's why we were able to achieve the maximum potential for this project." The installation on site went well, Radio Rijnmond was able to switch smoothly to the Omnia.9.

prepares us for the future." Steven tells. This processor has no limitations in flexibility. It can provide FM processing as well as
multiple digital channels and stream encoding. Doing all of this at the same time saves space in your rack and equipment you need.
A jack of all trades
The Omnia.9 now takes care of the big FM 93.4, the DAB+, the home connections, the internet web streams
and the monitoring in the studios. It is a true all-rounder. All channels can sound the same, this creates unity and a real Rijnmond
sound. For monitoring in the studio, the Omnia.9 has a separate processing line, which has a very low latency and can be tuned different
from the other connections.
You keep listening
We dare to say that Rijnmond now has the best and loudest sound of the Randstad. The sound quality for
listeners is very high. However, the average listener has not noticed the transition, but this is a good thing according to Steven. "The
listeners should not think they are suddenly listening to a different station.", he says. The Rijmond sound is uniform and
intelligible but still pleasant to listen to. It makes the listener less likely to turn of the radio because they will get less fatigue of
