Live reporting on site can have its challenges, especially when you're at a location with poor connectivity or network congestion. In order to combat this, it could be helpful to use a modem with a 5G connection. Therefore, Triple Audio offers the Peplink MAX adapter 5G in addition to the Comrex ACCESS NX Portable.
Reliable 5G connections
Peplink modems and routers are a great addition to the Comrex IP-audio codecs. Whereas the codec originally featured a 4G connection, you can now pair it with a Peplink modem to establish a 5G connection with ease. The mechanically robust modems from Peplink offer more capacity and a reliable, stable connection, even in the face of network congestion.
The Peplink modems can be connected to any internet service provider that offers 5G connectivity. Additionally, it is possible to connect two modems, each with a different provider, to your Comrex IP-audio codec. Should the connection from one provider fail, then the Comrex ACCESS NX Portable's crosslock mechanism will kick in to ensure stable connectivity via the alternate network.
Take your modems on the road
Triple Audio's bags for the NX Portable are a great fit for Peplink modems as well. The modem's antennas are tucked away in the shoulder strap, positioning them higher up to improve connectivity further. The NX Portable bag is the perfect solution for reporters on the street; it keeps their hands free, allowing them to fully focus on creating a fun broadcast.
Hand in hand
Comrex IP-audio codecs go hand in hand with Peplink modems, not just with the NX Portable. Peplink modems are also very handy for your NX Rack or MultiRack, giving these codecs access to a 5G internet connection.
