The IBC, the leading trade fair for the media, entertainment and technology industries, took place from 11 to 14 September. The team of Triple Audio was there too! We went for inspiration, but above all to network with our partners, engage in conversations with clients and explore (new) developments that might be relevant to them.
Omnia XII FM/HD/DAB Broadcast Audio Processor
We simply cannot ignore the new Omnia XII. Following a first experience with it at our own NEXTGEN Broadcast Technology event, a week before IBC, this new processor was clearly a hit at IBC too.
The Omnia XII is built around an advanced broadband AGC that feeds the intelligent 5-band multiband AGC and limiter section, including dynamic EQ and powerful bass management tools. This ensures an exceptionally clear, powerful and interference-free radio signal.
At IBC2026, the Omnia XII was honoured with a ‘Best of Show’ Award for new technology, presented by Radio World and TVBEurope.
Fun fact: during the IBC, the Omnia XII was running with a preset created by our colleague Edwin!
Axia Pulsar AoIP-mengpaneel
Pulsar is the new, compact mixing console from Axia Audio (Telos Alliance). Pulsar delivers top-class audio performance in a slim, compact design, with an emphasis on simple and straightforward installation and operation.
The mixing console attracted a great deal of attention at IBC2026, likely due to its powerful performance whilst remaining a very compact unit. The Pulsar features eight motorized faders, can be expanded to 16 channels using an expansion unit, and has TFT displays for each fader and a touchscreen monitoring section.
The Axia Pulsar has also won a ‘Best of Show’ Award!

DPA 6388 CORE+ Directional Headsetmicrofoon
DPA’s new directional headset microphone has already been showcased at our NEXTGEN Broadcast Technology event and was honored with a ‘Best of Show’ award in the AV Technology category at IBC2026.
The 6388 CORE+ delivers DPA’s renowned natural, authentic sound with excellent feedback suppression and exceptional speech intelligibility, in a robust, unobtrusive headset. Designed for the most demanding live environments where speech intelligibility, isolation and high gain-before-feedback are truly important. Think theatre, broadcast, live productions, sports commentary and conferences.
Would you like to hear the 6388 CORE+ in action? During our NEXTGEN Broadcast Technology event, Bo Brinck from DPA Microphones gave an interesting keynote speech and live demonstration.
Broadcast Bionics' new Multi-Object Recorder
Broadcast Bionics’ MOR> is an advanced recording platform designed to transform visualization and production workflows for radio and podcasts. Video is becoming increasingly important, also for radio and podcasts, and this Multi-Object Recorder enables video, audio and metadata to be captured in sync without any loss of quality.
This includes UHD ISO recordings, NDI with Livewire (AoIP) synchronization and real-time (10-second delay) editing in the cloud via TAMS. This enables direct publishing to content platforms and social media, even whilst a broadcast is still in progress.
CreatorNODE by Broadcast Bionics
Another product that attracted a great deal of attention at IBC was CreatorNODE. This device transforms any affordable production mixer into an AES67 console, enabling audio to be sent and received anywhere on the network. In this way, a small, standalone mixer becomes part of a much larger system.
CreatorNODE helps radio producers and podcasters to easily transition to modern IP- and cloud-based production workflows. Recorded content can be fed directly into a TAMS system, allowing it to be edited in real time.
CreatorNODE was also selected as one of the winners of the ‘Best of Show’ Awards.
Sonifex RM-X-64 AoIP Reference Monitor
We’ve had to wait a while for it, but Sonifex’s new AoIP monitoring system was officially launched at IBC2026. With the RM-X-64, you have complete control over audio monitoring, wherever you are!
The RM-X-64 reference monitor series is designed for modern broadcast, live production and critical audio environments, offering uncompromising flexibility and reliability in a compact 1U form factor. You can view up to 64 channels at once or select up to 4 channels for more precise level measurements.

cloudSwXtch en groundSwXtch van swXtch.io
Whilst groundSwXtch provides advanced multicast network functionality within physical on-premises studios, cloudSwXtch brings the same technology to cloud environments to connect them seamlessly. Combining groundSwXtch and cloudSwXtch creates a single, high-performance hybrid network environment.
Thanks to this combination, media companies can, for example, film a live sports match on location, send the raw audio streams to the cloud via groundSwXtch, and distribute them directly from there via cloudSwXtch to dozens of endpoints with minimal delay (low latency) and full protection against packet loss.
Jünger flexAI 12G-SDI Interface
At IBC2026, Jünger Audio launched its new 12G-SDI interface for its flexAI audio processing platform. This module enables broadcast professionals to directly access, process and adjust all embedded audio channels within a 12G-SDI video stream.
The Jünger flexAI 12G-SDI Interface makes it possible to process high-quality 4K video and audio via a single cable within the studio. Thanks to its built-in video delay, the card also ensures that the picture is always perfectly synchronized with the processed audio, preventing lip-sync issues during live broadcasts.
