Introducing Axia® Altus
We are pleased to introduce Axia Altus, the new software-based audio mixing console of Telos Alliance. By bringing the power and features of a traditional console to desktop and laptop computers, tablets and smartphones running in any modern web browser, users are invited to rethink where their content is created and produced.
The Axia Altus is offered as a Docker Container. This allows you to benefit from a high degree of flexibility in both the scale of your mixer and where you can use it. Multiple users can collaborate simultaneously on a single live or recorded programme from different locations and you can create a location set or temporary set in just a few minutes. You can run Docker on physical hardware or in the Cloud. This does not have to be in the same location where the mixer is used.
VX-integration
If phone callers are a part of your program Altus' built-in phone controller integrates with the entire family of Telos VX Broadcast phone systems for clean and clear caller audio.
Scalability
Altus is available either as a one-time buyout or as a subscription. The subscription model could be very useful for temporary stations. You don't have to pay for faders you don't use. Altus is also more flexible than its physical counterparts, starting with a base Altus 4-fader software module and growing in increments of 4 faders (instead of 6 or 8), up to 24 faders. This flexibility allows you to precisely dial in exactly what you need in your soft console without paying for extra faders.
If remote contribution or monitoring is required, then add in the WebRTC option that best suits your needs. Altus also comes standard with 8 virtual auxiliary mixers providing even more power to manage your audio.
